Capital District Welcomes the Formation of Budd, Baker, Beverly & Associates, CPAs (December 14, 2007)
Edward Budd, CPA, and Robert Baker, CPA, are pleased to announce that a deal has been inked to integrate their respective accounting and tax practices.
This new strategic alliance brings together a team of accounting and financial professionals with diverse areas of expertise and almost a century’s worth of experience assisting individuals and businesses with financial and tax-planning strategies. Collectively, the partners offer comprehensive coverage regarding the management of simple and complex financial and tax-related decisions that achieve immediate and long-term goals.
"Ed has a tremendous amount of experience servicing clients in the Capital District - the kind of experience that I believe will serve our clients well", said Baker. "He has the infrastructure and the staff to allow us to continue to grow our combined client base, while at the same time, deliver the close, personal services that the people and businesses of Albany demand."
The unique compliment of personal and professional expertise of the partners enables them to offer clients a full spectrum of financial, retirement, tax planning, tax preparation and business planning advisory services.
"Bob has developed a diverse and varied level of expertise in his 20 short years of being an accountant. I can't think of a service or industry that we won't be able to serve with Bob on board", added Budd.
And the partners agree that the key to success in this market is client service. "Our first priority will be in the continued development of our staff, to insure that our clients will be getting the quality, timely service, that they expect", adds Baker. "From there, our possibilities as a firm are endless."
Budd continues, "I would like to see us continue to exploit some of our strength areas, specifically the not-for-profit sector and QuickBooks® training and consulting." Adds Baker, "And the need for CFO and bookkeeping outsourcing services continues to grow, as the costs of these in-house services to small and medium-sized businesses tends to be prohibitive, making outsourcing the effective and economical alternative."
When the partners brainstormed on a tag line for the new firm, their client focus was clear, "We're counting on your future". And they invite you to let them start counting for you.
